Just keep swimming, just keep swimming! hi Nemo!
WOW! I survived mom!!! Day three of diving is done.. only 2 more dives tomorrow, an exam and a party to celebrate!
Today went really well. I was nervous at first ofcourse, as was everyone else but once we all got to the bottom of the sea (12 meters today) things were so peaceful and quiet and there were so many fish to look at that it kind of settles you down. It was only when we stayed in one place and were praticing skills like taking your gear on and off, taking off your mask and putting it back on and then blowing out the water and also breathing from your buddy's air supply... that was nerv racking part because you really only do those things if something is wrong. But everything went great and my group made it whithout problem. I wasn't sure how i felt about it (scuba diving) after the first dive. I was thinking it's too much stress but then after the second dive and i became a lot more comfortable and i want to keep going!
We swam around two different dive sites and saw a lot of fish.. even a nemo fish (clown fish!)We also saw a few very poisonour trigger fish that we had to back away from slowly. And ofcourse a lot of angel fish that are gorgeous and millions of other little guys swimming together...so beautiful. The coral and plant life is ofcourse really colourful too, almost as pretty as the fish themselves.
Tomorrow we have two more dives starting at 6:00 until around 11:00 and then ou exam so i have a little bit of studying to do tonight.
Here are some pictures i took today, tomorrow i will hopefully get an underwater camera and take pictures if i'm not too nervous/busy....they're sending a few videographers with us as well to tape our dives and the boat and getting all suited up so i'll see about getting that too.
Anyway these pictures were of today on the boat, getting out to the dive site (Twin Rocks, me with my gear, me and my diving buddy (always dive with a buddy) Garet, and everyone washing out their gear at the end of the day (my Sweedish instructor Steffi is on the left but a little hard to see and then the other guy whos back is turned is Mike another instructor...)
Talk to you soon, wish me luck for tomorrow!
